MediLearning International is expanding its operations across the Middle East and Africa to provide continuing medical education courses for healthcare professionals. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with DataFlow Group on 11 August to become an official partner on the DataFlow’s TrueProfile.io platform. This partnership offers continuing professional development modules for doctors, dentists, nurses, and pharmacists throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Platform and Modules
DataFlow serves as the primary source verification provider for regulatory authorities in the Middle East, with over three million registered professionals on its system. MediLearning will initially deliver more than 75 CPD modules accredited by the Dubai Health Authority, with a goal to increase this number to 150 within twelve months. The TrueProfile.io platform allows users to verify credentials while accessing these accredited learning materials.
African Expansion
The company is also establishing a presence in Africa. MediLearning and its distribution partners ACCESS Health International will launch a six-month pilot program in Egypt. The initiative will cover ten hospitals in the Minya region and target 1,650 doctors. Each facility will receive a MediPro portal to monitor CPD progress and activity. The program aims to support a potential wider rollout across the country.
MediLearning is preparing to enter the Kenyan market as well, with accreditation applications currently underway with local regulatory bodies. The firm is exhibiting at WHX Nairobi in September to further these efforts. Graham Cooke, the Founder and CEO of MediLearning International, noted that the need for online CPD has grown due to cancelled in-person events caused by regional conflicts.
